Amanda Shaftel is the co-founder of Cowboy Pools®, the original stock tank pool company, where she has helped transform a backyard trend into a nationally recognized lifestyle brand. Since launching the company in Austin, Texas in 2020, Amanda has guided Cowboy Pools from a small startup into a multi-million-dollar business serving thousands of customers across the country.

With a background in creative direction and brand strategy, Amanda brings a sharp eye for design and customer experience. She has been instrumental in shaping Cowboy Pools’ signature aesthetic—combining modern simplicity with Texas roots—and building a strong community of pool owners who value style, functionality, and accessible wellness.

As the company has grown, Amanda has led initiatives in product development, marketing, and customer engagement, ensuring Cowboy Pools continues to innovate with new designs, pool systems, and accessories while staying true to its mission: making beautiful, easy-to-own pools for every backyard.

Beyond the business, Amanda is passionate about wellness, design, and family life in Austin, where she and her husband and co-founder, Aaron Weiss, are raising their two young sons.
