Our inflatable hard cover is built differently, on purpose.

Compared to Foldable Covers that lie flat, flex over time, and end up pooling water on top-- ours do not. The tented design creates a subtle peak that naturally sheds rain, leaves, and debris. Water rolls off instead of collecting. The cover stays taut, elevated, and sturdy no matter the weather. No sagging. No bending. No surprise puddles. Just a smarter cover that works with gravity, not against it.

Yes, the inflatable cover can make the water in your pool warmer if it is exposed to sun. This makes the cover especially useful in the Fall, Winter and Spring months to help raise the temperature of the water warmer for swimming. For use in warmer months, we recommend keeping the pool in shade as much as possible.
The bottom and side strap webbing is completely optional. The optional straps that come with our covers do help to keep the covers in place and using them is a better option for keeping kids and pets from accessing the pool. *Our covers are not a replacement for a pool fence, adult supervision, or other precautionary safety measures.
Our bottom straps are a web of narrow polyester straps (the material of seat belts) with metal D-rings on all 6 ends. The bottom strap sits flat underneath your stock tank pool, so just the D rings stick out to attach the side straps.
The side straps then attach to the bottom six D-rings to the corresponding six D-rings on the pool cover.
Again, these are totally optional.
- Please do not overtighten the straps.
- Please do not use a cover on an empty tank; it should be filled to just a few inches from the top.

Our optional strap kit securely straps down your Cowboy Pool Cover at six points. Please do not over-tighten. The side straps connect the rings on the Pool Cover and the rings on the Ground Straps. The ground straps slide under a completely drained stock tank pool. If your pool is filled with water and you’d like to keep it that way, you may purchase 6 canopy stakes that can stake into the ground at the base of your stock tank pool. Suggested canopy stakes: Green 16 Inch Spiral Ground Anchor & Black 15 Inch Ground Anchor (on Suggested Products list on Shop page)
Do not leave children (or pets) unattended around a pool; covered or uncovered. These covers do not claim to be childproof and they are not a replacement for adult supervision.
Do not over inflate. Use only PSI range noted on the valve on to top of your cover.
Do not use on empty pools without water. These covers are sturdy and durable, though are not meant to endure heavy rains and snow fall over an empty pool or tank.
Do use your cover to help keep leaves, debris and unwanted pests out of your pool.
Do shake off the cover after a rain or it can be weighed down by debris on top. If your cover feels weighted down by rain or debris, you may use a squeegee or broom to help push off water and debris.
Do keep an eye on your children and pets at all times around our pools, even when covered.
If your cover is losing air, but not obvious where, it is most likely a loose valve. Do use the plastic valve wrench included in your repair kit to tighten the valve. 1/4 turn to the right should do the trick.
Do use your cover on a filled pool. Though these inflatable covers are a great solution for a sturdy pool cover, they may not reliably hold their inflated shape with heavy rains or snow fall over an empty pool. The covers are meant to sit over water.
