Cartridge Filter Pump
Two options on one page: the Motor Only variant when the wet end is fine but the motor's done, or the Complete Pump for a full swap.

The strainer basket inside the pump pot. Replace when cracked — a broken basket lets debris reach the impeller.

The #1 replacement. Clean weekly with a hose nozzle; replace every few months when cleaning no longer restores flow.

The tank body that holds the cartridge. Cracks happen — especially from freezes with water left inside.

The top of the housing — first suspect for leaks or airflow at the top of the filter.

The threaded ring that locks the lid to the housing. Cross-threaded or cracked collars won't seal.

The little valve that bleeds trapped air from the housing. Hissing, spitting, or stuck? This is your part.

Your early-warning system — clean the cartridge when it reads 5–10 psi over normal. Replace if stuck or cracked.
