From Order to Swim, Step by Step
Order Placed
To keep shipping affordable, your delivery is coordinated with other orders headed to your area. Current lead time is estimated at 3–6 weeks depending on your location — we'll get your pool on the first available route. Use this window to prep your space.
Route Booked
You'll get an email from us with your pickup date and estimated delivery window. Reply to confirm you've received it — that's how we know you're ready on your end. Your driver's contact info comes at pickup.
On the Road
Once your pool is picked up, we'll send your driver's name and phone number. From there, ETA updates come straight from your driver — keep an eye out for their calls and texts as they get close.

⚠️ The Unwrapping Rules — Read Before You Touch
- KEEP the yellow shipping straps on until you're completely done moving the pool into position. They hold the two tanks together and protect the interior plumbing.
- REMOVE the plastic shipping wrap within about two weeks of delivery. The wrap protects against scratches in transit — but left on outdoors, moisture gets trapped between the layers and can damage the finish or start corrosion on the tank's surface.
Straps stay until it's placed. Wrap comes off within two weeks. That's the whole rule.
Delivery FAQs
What exactly arrives?
A preassembled Cowboy Pool — galvanized tank with our custom polyethylene liner already installed — plus your filter pump, 10' of flexible PVC, and any add-ons like the TempTamer heater/chiller. If you know your pump needs to sit significantly closer or farther than 10 feet from the pool, tell us before it ships and we'll adjust the PVC length.
What sizes ship nationwide?
Preassembled pools ship nationwide in 6' and 8'. 10ft pools are available exclusively in our install markets — Austin, Houston, and San Antonio — where our crews deliver and install them.
My delivery window changed — is that normal?
Coordinated routes mean occasional shifts as the route fills in. If your window moves, we'll update you by email — and once your driver has your pool, they're your most direct line for timing.
Something arrived damaged?
Take photos right away — of the damage and the shipping wrap/straps as they arrived — and send them to us. We'll make it right.
